Your donation can help us upgrade
our website and physical facilities.

As an independent 501 (c)(3) organization, the Rocky Flats Cold War Museum receives no funding from any government agency. We currently get no funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, which supports several other nuclear museums.RFCWM chose independence because it gives us the freedom to address challenging subjects honestly, and to present a balanced range of perspectives. That’s the only way we can serve the community and fulfill our mission. But we can only do it with your help.
A community of generous supporters is growing around the RFCWM’s mission and initiatives. Your funds can help RFCWM:

  • Build a permanent headquarters.
  • Deliver top-notch educational support to Colorado schools.
  • Become a world-class data repository and research center.
  • Develop and install new exhibits.
  • Host national / international symposia and conferences.
  • Increase our artifact collection, with proper conservation and storage.
  • Deepen our relationships with similar organizations.

Your donation is completely tax-deductible. You can make your contribution online, or send a check to:

Four reasons to donate.

  1. To honor the service of friends or relatives who worked at Rocky Flats.
  2. To honor the civic engagement of friends or relatives who opposed Rocky Flats.
  3. To educate young people who have no memory of the Cold War and the arms race.
  4. To support civil, constructive dialogue about today’s nuclear challenges.
We were fighting the Cold War.  I'm proud thta we worked hard and did well and nobody got killed.
